As with most primary schools, we are a cashless school, we use the Parent Pay system to pay for items within the school. This is an online system that allows you to pay for school lunches, trips and other items. You will be issued a link to access Parent Pay for your child.
Class charts is the online system we use to communicate with those at home regarding student’s homework, behaviour, announcements, and timetables. You will be issued your log in details for this in September. There will be a parent log in and a student log in.
Each morning, students spend the first half an hour of the day in their tutor groups with their tutor. The tutor will be the person who will learn the most about your child and is the main point of contact for both parents/carers and students. The best way to contact tutors is through email, this information will be provided to you once tutor groups have been allocated.
Parents/carers should have informed the school of any known medical conditions when completing the admission form.
If your child needs to take medication during the school day you will need to complete a consent form for this medicine to be stored and administered by the school. These can either be sent to you, upon request, or you can come into reception to complete the form.
If your child has an ongoing medical condition that requires additional support or medication, we will ask you to assist in completing an Individual Health and Wellbeing Plan (IHWP). A member of our first aid team will be in contact with those individuals who have been identified as requiring a plan. It is the responsibility of the parent/carer to keep the school updated on any changes to medical conditions.
Supporting your child to continue to read and practice their times tables over the summer, will give them the best start to secondary school.
