The school has a small but committed Parents’ and Teachers’ Association. We engage in a range of fund-raising activities to support the school and also operate a 100 club where parents can pay a yearly subscription and have the chance of a cash sum in a monthly draw.
Over the years, the PTA has been able to provide additional equipment and materials to the school, including books, sports equipment and various items of technology.
Plymstock PTA supports the students through a variety of fundraising events. We urgently need more members to help us to function effectively for the benefit of the students. We are calling a Special General Meeting of the Plymstock School PTA on Thursday 4th December 2014 in the ECO6 classroom (building by the tennis courts) at 7.30pm.
The agenda is as follows:
1. Election of officers
2. Consideration of new bids from departments
3. 100 Club Draw
4. Future planning (or dissolution of the PTA if no new members come forward)
5. AOB

Plymstock PTA The 100 Club
The 100 Club was successfully launched in June 1992 and PTA is now looking to increase the number of members. For a subscription of £12 annually (£1.00 per month), you have the chance to win one of three prizes in a monthly draw and at the same time help the school financially. All takings are shared equally between prizes and supporting students’ education. The table below shows how prize money and PTA funds increase as more members are recruited
