We are delighted to see that once again Plymstock School has achieved one of the strongest Progress 8 scores in the South West, as well as the highest in Plymouth for non-selective schools and the highest in the Westcountry Schools Trust. Plymstock School achieved a very strong score of +0.17 (Above Average).
This year saw much change at GCSE with the introduction of the new and very challenging qualifications, alongside a new 9-1 grading system. However, our students, staff and parents worked together brilliantly and the outcomes achieved were really impressive.
We would like to thank our whole school community for their hard work and effort over last 12-months – you have all been amazing, and we look forward to building further on this success.
Unfortunately, through no fault of the school, Plymstock’s provisional data will not be published on the Department for Education (DfE) website for October. The DfE website states “There has been a delay in the inclusion of some exam results from an awarding organisation (Exam Board) for this school or college. We will update this data when we publish revised data in January.”
